THE ICC HAS BEEN CONFIRMED TODAY ICC MEN'S T20 WORLD CUP 2021 SHIFTED TO UAE AND OMAN FROM OCTOBER 17 AND NOVEMBER 14 ACROSS THE FOUR VENUES.
THE UPCOMING T20 WORLD CUP 2021 BCCI REMAINS HOSTED TOURNAMENT DUE TO COVID - 19 ONGOING SITUATION IN INDIA, THE TOURNAMENT WILL NOW TAKE PLACE IN UAE AND OMAN AND THE BCCI REMAINS HOSTED ICC MEN'S T20 WORLD CUP 2021.
FOUR VENUES HAVE TO SHORTLIST FOR THE TOURNAMENT:
DUBAI INTERNATIONAL CRICKET STADIUM
SHEIK ZAYED ABU DHABI CRICKET STADIUM
SHARJAH CRICKET STADIUM
OMAN CRICKET ACADEMY.
THE FIRST ROUND OF THE TOURNAMENT COMPRISING THE 8 QUALIFYING TEAMS. WILL NOW BE SPLIT BETWEEN OMAN AND UAE.
THE EIGHT TEAMS ARE COMPETING IN THE PRELIMINARY STAGE FOR ARE BANGLADESH, SRILANKA, IRELAND, NETHERLANDS, OMAN, NAMIBIA, SCOTLAND, AND PAPUA NEW GUINEA.
THE FOUR TEAMS OF THE FIRST ROUND DIRECT QUALIFY FOR THE SUPER 12 ROUND STAGE FOR WHICH, WEST INDIES, ENGLAND, INDIA, NEWZEALAND, AUSTRALIA, SOUTH AFRICA, PAKISTAN, AND AFGHANISTAN.
UAE AND OMAN TO HOST MEN'S ICC T20 WORLD CUP 2021 ITS CONFIRMED BY ICC AND BCCI WILL REMAIN HOSTED TOURNAMENT AND THE TOURNAMENT WILL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 17 AND NOVEMBER 14 FINAL ITS CONFIRMED BY INTERNATIONAL CRICKET COUNCIL.
